All About Strelitzia Nicolai Plant
Strelitzia Nicholai also called Giant White Bird of Paradise or Wild Banana is a native to the evergreen coastal forests of Eastern South Africa. It is also native to Botswana, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe. Although this plant is commonly used indoors, it does not produce flowers indoors.
It can be found in warmer climates and is often planted outdoors. It is frequently mislabeled or confused with the Strelitzia Reginae. This smaller Strelitzia Nicolai is also known as Bird of Paradise Plants because of their similarity to tropical birds.

Size Is Very Important
This indoor plant is a great choice if you're looking for an easy-to-grow, low-maintenance option. Strelitzia Nicolai is my favorite plant. It's a great choice if you have lots of space and a high ceiling. My Strelitzia grew from three to seven feet in just 18 months. That's right! In just over a year, it doubled in height.
Its footprint has also grown significantly!
If you don't have enough space, don't worry. Instead, you can try the Strelitzia regine. Although it's more difficult to find, it's just as beautiful and doesn't grow nearly as large.
Ideal Light
The StrelitziaNicolai can thrive in areas of medium to bright lighting, but not in areas with brighter conditions. This plant is best suited for south-facing windows and rooms. It can tolerate some direct sunlight during the morning.
